Beta-glucans in our Reishi.
Beta-glucans are the compounds most mushroom research zeroes in on. So they're the number worth checking on any mushroom label, and ours are some of the highest you'll find.

A tiny history lesson
For centuries
People used the mushroom itself. The fruiting body, the bit you can see and pick. That's where all the traditional know-how comes from.
Then it got big
Brands started growing just the root network, mycelium, on trays of rice or oats. Fast and cheap. When it's ready, the whole tray gets dried and ground up, rice and all, so a lot of that powder is rice starch.
Then came testing
Beta-glucan tests showed how much was filler, and the industry swung hard to fruiting body only.
Where we landed
Full spectrum. Fruiting body and mycelium together, grown properly here in BC and tested every batch. Each part carries compounds the other one skips.
Label-reading hack
Lots of labels brag about "polysaccharides." Starch is a polysaccharide too. Beta-glucans are the number that tells you how much actual mushroom you're getting, so look for that one.

Wild Woman and Wise Woman both contain black cohosh (Wise has dong quai too), and that's their traditional rhythm, the one Health Canada holds herbal formulas to. Cycling on and off is how plant medicine has always been used. Goddess and Shine carry straight on through.
